Need Help-Teacher looking for employment attorney-HR failed to protect a mandatory reporter
Hi Everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a great employment attorney in Houston. I mandatory reported one of the admins in my school district for child negligence. Now that his investigation is over, in which he was of course found innocent and no wrong doing, he has publicly intimidated me in a meeting with him and my principal. He specifically said he investigated who it was, found out it was me, purposely avoided my campus and his duties as my supervisor, and used that info to intimidate me in a meeting. Texas Statute says ALL of what he did is illegal, and I’m entitled to sue for workplace discrimination. Anyone got any ideas to help? My union says the lawyer insurance doesn’t cover this, unfortunately. Thank you.
