Need help finding volunteer opportunities related to basketball and special-needs athletes

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get into volunteering, I’ve done some work at a local food bank but I’d like to do something more in line with my interest while also helping others. I’ve worked with special-needs kids before and have a family member with down’s-syndrome so I’m familiar with how to work with kids/adults with Down’s syndrome. 

Is anyone familiar with basketball coaching/assistant coaching opportunities /organizations that I could research? I would like to help out with something along those lines, I enjoy teaching the game, I’ve done some individual coaching before and would like to help out in some capacity.
