Need help finding a home to buy! Market in Houston is going crazy

I don’t know if this is not ok to post but I’ve lived in Houston all my life and it’s the place I want to live but the houses keep going up so very much! I can’t find a house on market value. They all go up like 10% more because so many people are bidding on them. And if it’s not an all out bidding war, the house is on market value but it needs 20k$ worth of repairs. So I’m just so frustrated of what’s happening. I don’t know if it’s because of so many people coming in to Houston from other more expensive city’s but I personally think it’s getting crazier by the day. So my question is if someone knows of someone that is selling a property owner to owner! My 2 past realtors suck, they tell me to buy and I don’t think they even care about me and the decision I’m making that I have to live for the rest of my life.
