Need Help: Am I Doing something wrong?

Yo,

Just curious is there’s others having as much trouble as me getting employed ANYWHERE AT ALL.

Moved back to Houston with family around Sept. after living away for about 6-7 years cause of school but ended up not finishing and just lived away in general (in Austin)

Was hoping to help my family and rebuild my finances as well.

After applying for about 3-4 places around me every week since being back (going on 8 months) and have had only a handful of second interviews and just an email full of rejections.

I paid for a background check and nothing came up unusual other than some paid off citations (can’t do security cause of my MVR is at a level 2) and dismissed cases but can employers see that?

When I say I’ve applied everywhere, from the stores in the plazas around my house all the way to security and other retail stores/ restaurants all over houston willing to travel to land something.

If anyone could offer tips or have had a similar time and could give pointers, would be much appreciated.

Long story short; Moved back home, been back for 8 months and cant find a job, applied to everywhere and everything and nothing, advice would be helpful.
