Need a doctor with your groceries? Walmart Health to expand to Houston

At a time when Texas and the nation struggle with a primary care physician shortage, Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) plans to build health clinics across the country, including eight in the Houston area.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retail giant launched its Walmart Health division in the Atlanta area in 2019, opening a 10,000-square-foot health clinic, said Dr. David Carmouche, senior vice president of Walmart’s omnichannel care offerings, which include Walmart Health.
