National Science Foundation gives $1.4 million grant to Rice, other universities nationwide
The National Science Foundation has given a $1.4 million grant to a research team led by Rice University.
Rice itself will receive $710,277.
The project by the research team will cover the lack of teachers in K-12 and in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The NSF encourages STEM majors and professionals to teach.
