Narratives Change

Unpopular opinion: As a Texans fan, us harping on preseason narratives in regards to the Panthers like everything is set in stone is getting annoying. Things can change. If you asked anybody outside our fanbase right now who is in a better situation, it is CJ by far. The national media wasn’t going to put stock into an unproven coaching staff and offense before the season. Now that the season has played out it’s obvious the scheme is better, the line is better, the receiving core is better, even the running game has picked up as of late and is better. By trying to push the narrative that CJ still has nothing and is elevating everything, you’re really just discrediting the job everybody else besides him is doing. We have a good team and wouldn’t be in the position we are if we didn’t. CJ is playing like a top 5 qb and doesn’t need us to remind people of preseason narratives that aren’t true anymore in attempts to uplift him. The media love we get now is just their way of acknowledging they got it wrong even if they don’t outright say it.
