My pessimistic take…

Hearing the coaching candidates seemed too good to be true, I was impressed that Nick went this route and was going to interview the best options available. But after hearing Ben Johnson pulling out and some reports about Sean Payton, I’m starting to think Nick and Co did this all just for show. I think Gannon has been their guy all along and they’re doing these half assed interviews just for the p.r. I’m guessing Johnson sensed that and we might see the same with other candidates pulling out.

Nick and Cal have let me down too many times to have any faith in them. I hope I’m wrong but here’s to our new coach, whomever that may be.
