My mortgage company miscalculated my taxes and now I owe an extra $10,000.
So apparently they incorrectly calculated my property tax escrow by nearly half and now they are trying to come at me with a $10,000 backend amount owed while also raising my monthly payment amount by about $450.
A.) How does this even happen? B.) Is there any recourse?
