My first speeding ticket. Oops

I won't go into deep detail, and I'm pretty sure I can't avoid the ticket by trying to claim innocence.

How do I go about trying to at least get a lesser penalty by having any points removed from my record, and possibly a reduction in the cost? How should I speak, and ask? I've never been to court and I know you have to speak a certain way.

Was alleged 80 in a 50 zone, not much cars around, I believe others were going 60. I believe I was going 70 (still wrong I know) , the officer was on the other side of the road and I was on the far right lane behind some truck. Not sure how he got me. Any help is appreciated. Again not trying to plead innocent, just maybe a reduction in penalty if possible.

Or would I have to pay the ticket in full as long as the points do get removed? Would I still have to go to court with the officer that gave me the citation or just the judge?
