My family has a ferret they can’t take care of

My family is out on vacation for 3 weeks. They have a ferret named Jackie. I would take her for myself if i didn’t have a pet pitbull dog who thinks they’re toys. My family no longer wants her and i want to make sure she goes to a safe home who will be able to take care of her fully. I would do it myself but i have a dog who thinks they’re toys. I just want her to have the best life as my family only has her locked in a cage. If it wasn’t for me, letting her roam free under supervision she would be stuck in lin a cage and i refuse to give her a miserable life. Her name is Jackie, 4 years old and a purely curious baby. I’m in Houston, TX area and got permission to post this from the owners (my fam)
