My elderly father is currently homeless in Houston. How can I help him from out of state?

I live far from him and sadly have nowhere for him to go. My own housing situation is not stable and there is sadly no room for him here. I am currently putting him up in a hostel night by night but it's not financially sustainable for me.

He is a very talented artist that can make decent enough money with his art, just needs a stable place to draw and ink. He has no health issues or addictions and just wound up being homeless there after his girlfriend got drunk and kicked him out.

I'd be appreciative of any advice or leads you have for me. I'd love to find him a social worker and some kind of housing. He has EBT but his replacement ID is still being shipped to Houston. Thanks in advance!
