Move to the burbs?

Hello! I currently rent inside the loop, but I would like to own my own property. Is it a stupid idea for a single guy to move out to the suburbs? Will I have zero dating life?

I don’t really go to many places in the city, I’m just worried I’ll never meet anyone in the suburbs.
