Most walkable neighbourhood

Visiting Houston for a month later this year and looking for the best area that has – lots of trees/parks to walk – historic buildings – cool things to do with minimal driving – not a suburb

I’m getting a car of course but since I don’t have to be in a particular place, open to any suggestions
