Modeling opportunities

Hi, I’v been working on myself for the last few years, to become better looking, physically and by good looks. Recently, iv generated an interest toward a thought of considering modeling as a side gig, if it pays a little atleast. Im someone who is at a high intensity job during my workdays, but the weekends are off – and would like to pursue on becoming a model maybe if I could help in photoshoots on those days.

Are there agencies in Houston who are looking for new models? Im new/naive about this, and havent really had a deeper understanding about it. It would be nice if someone with experience could tell me. My main focus is to improve myself as a person, and get paid in the process as doing this as a side gig (I understand there would be many coming up saying that mideling could be a full time job, so I would appreciate if you could tailor your answer to the situation).
