Mixed-use community with multimillion-dollar homes near Conroe clears first hurdle

A proposed mixed-use development just outside Conroe will bring multimillion-dollar homes to the fast-growing area north of Houston.

The Conroe City Council last week approved the creation of a municipal utility district as a first step for the future development, which will be located in Conroe’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
