MIL coming to visit during restaurant week – please help me decide where to take her

My MIL (60s) is visiting for a Friday and Saturday during August and thought it might be fun to do a couple restaurant week restaurants.

She’s a great chef herself, and loves a good restaurant scene.

Sure I might get a little flamed for my short list, but have narrowed it down to: Bluedorn, Bar Bluedorn, Le Jardinier, BCN, or Xochi.

I know these places can be overrated in their reputations but we havent been to any of them and thought restaurant week would be a good time to try out.

I cant make heads or tails of which “nice” restaurant to pick – any opinion would be welcome! thank you.

Edit: any (non RW) suggestions for a bakery, brunch or lunch, would be appreciated too. We are in the heights so naturally inner loop is good, but not at all opposed to making a trek for something great.
