Midtown vs. Med Center

I asked over a month ago about lodging ideas nearby TMC (Houston Methodist @ Fannin) and got some great responses.

I have narrowed it down to Mid Main Lofts @ Midtown or Vantage Med Center @ TMC.

I’ll be at Houston Methodist for a month, and that’s it. I’m a 27 y.o, female doctor, love art, music, films, and great food –especially vegetarian. I’ll be bringing my car from Arizona so distance is not the main factor in my decision. I want safe, walkable coffee shops, and a nice neighborhood.

What are your thoughts on these two places? Do you suggest any others? (I’m using Airbnb).
