Mickey Moniak

It’s being reported that the Angels are releasing him, and I think he may be worth a flyer.

He’s a former #1 overall pick, can play all 3 OF spots, bats lefty with platoon splits. I know the roster is tight, but if we could get him on a minimum deal and put him in AAA, he’d be a decent platoon option with Meyers, without sacrificing defense between Altuve and Cam.

He seems a better fit than Trammell because of the defense, and probably has more upside.
