Meyerland post Project Brays

Considering moving to the Meyerland area since our favorite house on our house hunt is a new build there. I know Meyerland has a propensity to flood. The potential property had flooded before during Harvey, but the house now on it is raised 5 feet per the elevation survey. I feel comfortable with flood insurance premium, likelihood we won't flood into the house, etc, but I'm wondering how the streets are during a "normal" flood warning event in the area to see if I can even get to my house in the event of high water. Specifically looking at how the Beechnut/S. Rice intersection and that area behind Meyerland Plaza do in heavy rain situations, especially post Project Brays.

Hurricane Beryl comes to mind as a recent storm during which I'm interested to see how the area did.

TIA!
