Metro: "Why is ridership down?" Also Metro:

Metro: "Why is ridership down?" Also Metro:

This is just ONE example. I've been using Metro for over two years and finally got pissed enough to make a post with proof they pick and choose when they run regardless of when they're supposed to run.

This system really is junk if you actually have to get anywhere. An hour route turns into an hour and a half ordeal because of s**t like this. Miss your transfer? Well, now you get to wait an extra half hour. So, be sure to take the bus before the bus you're supposed to take to make sure you don't miss your transfer? Sure. Or you could do that and have them just randomly decide "nah, we're going to ignore frequency. We'll get there when we get there."

Like, I can either spend $15 on a 20 minute Uber each to and from work. Or, I could spend $1.25 to bake at an open bus stop hoping they decided not to simply skip an entire route with no explanation whatsoever requiring me to leave home almost two hours before my shift starts and arrive home almost an hour and half later from 9 miles away

Because, I've seen a driver at a transit Center literally blow past his departure time standing by his parked bus chatting with another driver. 1min, 0min, -1min, -5min, -9min. Then he decides to close out his conversation and pull up. And I wonder just how often they happens where I'm waiting on the bus, my transit app shows it just sitting at a damn TC forever, and twenty minutes later it finally moves.

This system is absolute trash and Metro can shove Metro Next and worry about improving the damn routes it already has instead.
