Metro Survey Team?

Anyone ever heard of the metro survey team doing surveys in person while on a bus? A young woman appearing to be legit asked me some survey questions but in all my years of riding metro I’ve never seen it before.

She seemed legit had a vest and badge and stuff. She didn’t ask any personable identifiable questions just very generic survey questions.

Just wondering if one it’s a legit thing that’s anyones heard of before and if it’s a new thing or have I never ran into one of them before?
