“Metele”, Hottest Song of 2021!

Houston City Beat has a story to share with you! We caught up with Houston based musician Wasel with Wasel Muzik and are excited to bring you one of the HOTTEST songs to come out in 2021 – “Metele”!

Wasel is a first generation immigrant who has worked hard and sacrificed a great deal to bring about his dream of sharing his music with the world. He took a determined step to reach out to Don Dinero based out of Miami to mentor and shape his music career. Don Dinero is an established and talented artist and producer of stars. We have included words of wisdom and success principles from Don Dinero which you don’t want to miss!

There’s a story behind the performance that I must share with you. Don Dinero came out to Houston from Miami for a promotion he and Wasel are working on for Metele. On Saturday evening, before they headed out to their official song promotion business, Wasel agreed to come out and do a performance of his newest songs “Metele” at his families restaurant @Chicken Headz (more on this place in a later post – spoiler alert -> it’s the best chicken you will ever eat). During the performance of the first song, the sound engineer had a hiccup and what could have turned into a disaster was quickly turned around by Wasel. It would have been very easy for him to have stopped the DJ out of frustration for the sound issues but he pressed on and worked through it. On your way to the top we will encounter setbacks but we must not allow those speedbumps to derail our efforts or stop our momentum. We decided to not include the first song on the video but wanted to share the story with you regardless because if it inspires just one person, it has served it’s purpose.
