Memorial Hermann Financial Assistance

Hello, wondering if anyone has any experience with Memorial Hermann’s financial assistance program? Were you approved? Denied? Asked to provide more documentation?

I don’t have health insurance and unfortunately had to visit the ER. I’ll be applying to their financial assistance program to see if I can get the bill reduced. 2 months ago I wouldn’t be worried about applying because I made way less than 200% FPG but now I make like $500 more than the listed amount (which isn’t enough to help me pay the balance). Wondering if anyone knows how helpful the hospital really is.
