Memorial City area business lunch and drinks suggestions

My company’s CFO comes into town once a quarter for our board meeting and we always go to lunch and have a drink (or two). We always go to Treebeards next to Memorial City mall, which is great and all but we’ve gotten kinda tired of the same thing over and over.

Last time he was in town he suggested a new place and we ended up at The Rustic, which was ok but we felt it was pretty loud and very expensive for what it was.

He’s coming into town next week and told me since he picked a new place last time, it is my turn to pick a spot. I don’t eat out very often so I’m not sure where to go.

My office is basically across I-10 from Memorial City mall so something somewhat nearby would be preferable. Wondering if anyone has some lunch suggestions for places that aren’t too loud and food/drinks are not crazy expensive – something more mid-tier. I would really appreciate some recommendations!!
