Meet P Saint | Artist/Songwriter/Producer/Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with P Saint and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi P, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
A few habits that helped and are still helping me succeed are consistency, confidence and hard work. With consistency , it allowed me to to find my sound, build my catalog and grow so much as an artist. With confidence, I believe in my talents and my gift. With working hard , I’ve made sure I’ve put in over the 10,000 hours but perfect my craft and continuously level up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an artist/creative out of NYC. I create afrobeat/rnb/hip hop music. what sets me apart I believe is my voice, melodies and my consistence with combining genres or making something sound really appealing and different. I’m not afraid to take risks and I’m always trying to push the envelope and make timeless songs. What I’m most proud about is my growth with making music for 8 years. the journey definitely had its ups and downs but I feel like every situation taught me a lesson and provided room for growth. I remember trying to get into the studio was always hard so I went out and bought my own mic and set up and learned how to engineer. now every record I’ve put out for the pass 5 years has been engineered by me. This process was not easy. writer block could happen, lack of passion or even just life happens. All these create a better story to tell so instead of letting certain moments defined my future, I decided to put it in the music. Often I was overlooked, laughed at or not taken serious but I let that fuel me. Along this journey so far I’ve learn to always “Do You”. caring what other people think and say about what I do only exsisted in there mind and finding who I am , gave me to confidence to do what I do and create the way I create. I just want there world to know anything is possible and it’s all about time. Also want them to know I plan to continue giving them vibes and good music. The P Saint brand is a brand where making music with meaning and vibes is limitless. My story is far from over and I would love for them to join me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
if my best friend was visiting, some places I would take him would definitely me a best food spots around. I love me a good burger. I would also take them to a museum or two. I would also take therm to dope views. Views are always inspiring. Also I would left them experience the nightlife with the clubs and bars and everything.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I ca’t call out everyone name by name but I’ll just go on and shoutout my friends. They know who they are. They really watched my journey and supported me along the way. They believed in me when I had my doubts.
