Meet Licha Jimenez

Today I caught up with Licha Jimenez. She will be featured in this week’s Art Gallery Opening for the Houston Art Advisory. One of the many things I love about Licha is how she embraces nature in her art work. Her heritage walks closely with her along her artistic journey and you will see it reflected in very art piece.

One of these paintings has been tied to a love story and I just can’t help but wonder if it will create more love stories for those that come close enough to its surreal nature – it’s almost like you can just step into it’s world behind the curtain of color. I have a lot to say about this particular piece because it’s my favorite…My other favorite piece is “Entre Frida y Guadalupe”. It’s as if you are looking at Mother Nature in all her wonder.
