Meet Dr. Stephen Jung | Sports Medicine Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Stephen Jung and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Stephen, what matters most to you?
Loyalty. My parents really embodied this concept to me at an early age and has stuck with me since. I feel like this is one of the most important characteristics of a person since it displays what kind of character, discipline, and trustworthiness a person beholds. If you cannot be loyal to me or my family, I’m sorry but we cannot be friends or associates. Loyalty is a must.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Exactly a year ago, me and my wife finally opened up our own clinic in the galleria area of Houston Texas. We operate a sports medicine clinic, where we not only focus on the main complaint of the patient but the other surrounding structures around the area of pain, which I feel like separates our clinic from others. We are really passionate about our patients and we feel as though what is done outside of clinic is half the battle, therefore we stress immensely on the stretching and ergonomic components for them to do on a daily basis.

I walk by faith and not by sight so all my faith was placed upon the Lord above, so in the beginning I was a tad bit nervous lol but I know God is in full control of everything else, the power of prayer is a beautiful thing.

Dont expect things to happen overnight, and please be prepared for hardships along the way for I feel this is needed to not only operate a successful business, but also develops strong character and patience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are going to South Korea. My best friend is obsessed with KPOP music which is ironic because he used to hate when I played in high school and now he is the biggest BTS fan on this EARTH. *palm to face emoji* We would obviously eat nothing but Korean food, and Korean food, and Korean Soju. (you know who you are Arthur John Gulla)

The most fun and interesting people I have met, would have to be at music festivals ie. Coachella, EDC, Stereo live etc… lol. All very loving and kind people that become your family overnight, most importantly they are ALL, ALL, there to have a fun recreational time lol. Good lord, so glad I got all of that out of my system lol, but probably one of the best times of my life.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, all glory and credit goes to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, without him none of this is possible. Next I would have to thank my beautiful parents for instilling such great morals and principles growing up. In addition, much love and recognition goes to my wife and business Dr. Mechelle Tran for she has changed me in so many different ways and the best she is the best business partner and mom a guy could ask for. Big big shouout to my clinic ASAP Chiro for always being so hardworking and supportive of all of our endeavors to where we have came thus far. Last but not least the most inspirational book that I can allude all my success to is The Holy Bible.
