Meet Chrisanthia Allen | Founder/Brand Designer of 9X Creative Studio

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chrisanthia Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chrisanthia, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factors for me would be self confidence, passion and the care for others, (lol I’m sorry I couldn’t choose one because there are so many) .

I love what I do and if you don’t have a genuine passion for what you do and the people you serve along with the confidence within yourself I don’t think its possible to succeed.

I love helping persons to create and build their branding through design, I love the response and the sound of their voice on our calls when they see how everything turned out, when they surpassed their launch goal, when their website make 10k in an hour and so forth.. I love when others are happy and that makes me happy.

When I started 9X Creative Studio ( formaly known as Unique Images by Chrissie) it was to do just that, help others to grow and show up confidently with their brand/business.

Along with that having confidence in your self and your abilities is also important! You have to believe that you can do what you set out to do and have faith.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Honestly my parents wanted me to be a police officer or a business accountant. I applied for the police force once after I graduated from college with a master in business admin but that wasn’t for me.

From I was the age of 8 I fell in love with art, I loved to paint and draw and dress different and be unique.

And from painting , drawing to graphic design, which a a form of digital art, it allows me to express my creativity while also helping others to bring their vision to life. I love taking a black canvas and creating something that is just WOW.

I remember the day I fell in love with design, I was working a summer job at a printery and I was taken away by the artwork the designer created and I knew that digital design was mines. I applied my self and thought my self how to use photoshop, later I went to school and got certified just because, but everything I do now was self thought through trails and errors. I later moved on to working for my self, designing flyers and posters.

In 2015, I was working for a company in Jamaica known as Romeich Entertainment as a bottle service girl and one day he saw that I did graphic design and I had such a creative vision for stuff and he asked me why did I hide my talents, I later pivoted from bottle service girl to head graphic designer, photographer and social media manager for Romeich entertainment & Shenseea….and later transition to brand design and web Design.

I started to grow, so I decided to branch off and do my business on the side while still working for them and that’s when Unique Images by Chrissie started which later transformed into what is now 9X Creative Studio, a Digital marketing and design agency for bold visionaries.

Along the way I’ve learned some hard lessons. Owning and running a business is the deepest shadow work you can ever do. It forces you level up with no excuses, I had to be CEO, customer service rep and more. You really see yourself for who you are. I have had the pleasure of getting to know myself throughout the years of running this business and working with a few wonderful persons.

Now I get to wake up and create for brands daily. I get to create the life I’ve always wanted for myself and my kids, I get to travel while working, be able to be a stay at home mom and enjoy. I am passionate about what I do and it shows in my work, I love helping others grow their brand and business and this is something I wouldn’t trade .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m not a party girl or drinker.. but when I do get time to take a break I love to be around my kids and my family. I love spending my days at the pool, going out with my sister and brothers and cousins for a glass of Lemon Drop. I love to travel and my job allows me that freedom to travel and work.

I dedicate this shoutout to my family, friends, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I would not and could not do this without them. They are my number 1 motivators.
