Md anderson housing help

I asked this question once last year and did receive some help. My wife’s cancer has come back and I’m in need of help again. She is scheduled for treatment to start Monday. They would have liked to start earlier but insurance has been dragging their feet. Her treatment is currently denied by insurance and I’m working with her Drs to get that resolved. In any case we will be going to Houston to start some form of treatment to save her life. As soon as I knew we were going back I applied to everywhere I did last time. I’m aware of the joes house and the social workers at md Anderson.

As of right now I havnt heard anything back. I’m just wondering if there’s any church organizations or any kind of other resource that may be able to help me. I’m a fire fighter and ex military if that helps with anything. We will be spending 6 weeks there for treatment. I’m open to any kind of help if anyone knows of any resources. The va was unable to help me last time as I am not the patient.

There’s a chance I maybe paying for the treatment myself so any financial resources or help would be appreciated as well.
