Mayor Turner proposes 3 years of pay raises for Houston firefighters

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner has proposed a pay raise for firefighters, the latest in an ongoing issue.

Turner’s proposal, announced May 19, would give Houston firefighters a 6% raise for three consecutive years beginning on July 1, 2021.
