Mayor Sylvester Turner announces slew of police reform initiatives

Mayor Sylvester Turner and Houston Police Chief Troy Finner announced the changes April 29, which were proposed by the mayor’s task force on policing reform. The reforms include a range of initiatives from mental health interventions to police oversight and training.
