Maybe our o-lineman and CJ are just stupid to understand pass pro concepts and adjustments
Not being sarcastic, I'm serious. Somehow, the o-line still can't pick up stunts. They've been bombarded by stunts every week and are, incomprehensibly, still routinely beaten by stunts. It's not that they saw it, picked it up, and were just physically beaten. No. Instead, it's like they're oblivious to the fact it is actively happening, no anticipation whatsoever.
I see overload pressure looks by Seattle all night, but no protection adjustments at the line. I don't hear anything but CJ's normal cadence. No callouts. No pointing at defenders by either CJ or the lineman. They just snap the ball, letting whatever happens happen. You see exactly what bad thing is definitely going to happen, then you freely let that bad thing happen. Ball is snapped, and a free rusher who everyone sees coming but was never accounted for is immediately in CJ's face. We're how many months into this offense from minicamp install? No bullshit, are these guys actually too stupid to understand these things? I honestly have no other explanation. I feel like I'm crazy watching the same s**t happen week after week and literally nothing changes. Like wtf are they doing in o-line meetings? Fucking hate it here.
