Matt Lanza (Space City Weather) to Speak at North Shepherd Brewing on Tues 1/23 at 6:30

Matt Lanza, of Space City Weather, will give a FREE public talk at North Shepherd Brewing on Tuesday, January 23rd at 6:30pm.

"The Science of Space City Weather"

Matt will speak about how he provides up-to-date informed weather forecasts and about the unique weather events we experience in the Houston region.

For those unfamiliar, Space City Weather is an extremely popular weather website/App that focuses on the Houston region's unique weather phenomena (e.g., hurricanes, flooding, etc.). Their biggest draw is that they are "hype-free" meteorologists who provide the people of Houston with forecasts that allow them to make informed decisions for preparing for weather events. Many people in the region rely on them to stay informed about weather events in Houston.

Q & A will follow, as will North Shepherd's Tuesday evening beer specials ($5 per beer).

Even though this is at a brewery, all ages are welcome.
