Makeup Lesson?

I’m looking to refresh my day to day makeup routine/products. I’m not very good with makeup, so also looking to get some tips on how to better use products. I’ve looked into makeup counters at Sephora, ulta, etc., but I’m getting mixed reviews.

Anyone have any recommendations or good experiences to share? Thanks!
