Major energy sector event CERAWeek canceled amid coronavirus concerns

CERAWeek, one of Houston’s most prominent energy sector events, has been canceled amid fears of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease.

The conference, which is put on by IHS Markit, was scheduled to take place in Houston March 9-13.

“We have made this decision reluctantly and after deep consideration,” the organization said in a statement.
