Looking to foster animals? Check out Rescued Pets Movement!

Hey all! I've been working with the Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) group for a few years, and thought I would share their foster program for others that might be interested. They are inundated right now with dogs and cats from LA-and could use all they help they could get!

RPM is a transport rescue group, which means that all of their animals are transported to other shelters outside of the state that have a lower volume of adoptable animals. That means for their foster program-there can be NO foster fails. Seriously; there is a heft fine if you decide to keep one-plus you're out of the program. I know some have a hard time with that-but for me, it works perfectly! I get the opportunity to help more animals. 🙂

I've personally had a great expirience with that group-they communicate well and help me answer questions (I'm a very nervous foster sometimes and get anxious…), they have supplies available if you need them, and they run a tight ship. They always transport on Thursdays, so you find out on Tuesday if your animal is scheduled for transport. They try their best to communicate the approximate amount of time you would foster, and can be considerate to re-homing if really needed.

They are located off of TC Jester and I10. I'm happy to answer any questions about the cat program (that's the one I have participated in) but know they would love to have new fosters apply.
