Looking to adopt a dog.

I'm looking to adopt a dog who is small and will remain small in its adult life. I've looked at all the adoption websites like Petfinder, BARC, Houston humane society, and Houston SPCA.

I don't really have a specific breed in mind just as long as it's not a chihuahua. The ideal dog would be a puppy -1.5 years, and no more than $600.
