Looking Room for rent near briar forest or surrounding area

I’m looking to rent a bedroom near 77057, I’m currently staying at my moms place I’m 19 and I’ve never had my own bedroom before and I’m paying $300 for rent now to sleep in the couch. And I really can’t keep this living conditions with absolutely no privacy. I don’t smoke or smoke or own any pets. so if yall have any recommendations of apartments complex’s, or yall are renting out a bedroom let me know! Also are the Facebook listings safe?
