Looking for storage unit recommendations

I’m a healthcare worker about to take a travel contract, so I’ll be gone anywhere from 13 weeks, to a year. I’m possibly having a friend stay in my apartment, so I’ll be needing to put some personal belongings in a storage unit. I’ve never had to use one before, but I’m mostly concerned about flooding, and theft. Any recommendations? Regarding location, I live near the galleria but am open to driving a bit, considering that I’ll be ending my lease once it’s up, thanks in advance
