Looking for rentals!

Hiii everyone. I am looking to rent for next year. At this moment, i want to start renting around spring/summertime but im not sure when to start looking and when to start other things apart from saving money/furniture/things like that. Wanted to get some of yalls advice on this! Like, places to look into/places to avoid. I want to live around fourth ward or more south of fourth ward.

It’s going to be me and maybe two other friends who have graduated college/been out of college for two years now, so we can def split rent.
