Looking for musical theatre opportunities! kind of lost…

SO i'm currently a high school student in the Houston area and i'm looking for good theaters to audition for during the summer. I've searched around but keep running into one of two types of theaters

those that only host summer camps which are pricey and "spoken role guaranteed"

those who don't take high school students or scare me for looking sketchy i suppose

If anyone knows of a good theatre I could audition for, please let me know i'm EAGER to participate in more productions! I'm open to community theatre i just want to hear people's opinions on what's trustworthy and whatnot
