Looking for Housing for Mom

Howdy everyone!

Shooting my shot here as I really just want to help my mom out—

Due to a really cruddy situation, my mom and her fiancé are losing their home. To make a long story short, they were paying $1,700 to a landlord who wasn’t paying the bank.

She will be 63 this year and is low income/ on disability. She’s a wonderful tenant who has made every space she’s rented spotless and is, quite frankly, the perfect tenant. I’m certain she has glowing recommendations from previous landlords who will happily vouch for her. She has been in her current space for close to 5 years now. She lives in the heights area, but is willing to move to wherever will have an opening.

Any ideas? Does anyone know of places that would fit? Happy to provide additional information as needed. I haven’t been able to help/come down to Houston due to being a teacher with very limited time off. Thank you!!
