Looking for hipper art

I need an original art refresh in my house. I've read previous posts asking for art recommendations, and I've visited a lot of the places listed. So far, Silver Street Studios is the only one that has a few high quality artists.

I've been surprised by the dated painting styles I'm seeing, like cubist, landscapes, and tacky pop art. This is a huge city so there has to be better art with a strong point of view.

I'd love some fresh recommendations. I'm especially interested in screen prints, ceramics, and drawings.
