Looking for group volunteer opportunities

Hi all! My employer organizes community engagement activities a few times a year and I’m on the committee tasked with finding these volunteer opportunities. I’m looking for suggestions. So far we have done things like beach cleanups and volunteering at food banks and Kid’s Meals. I’m looking for other suggestions as well.

It can be indoor or outdoor. Trying to keep it under half a day, which I know may limit our options.

I’ve looked into Habitat for Humanity and Rebuild Houston, but they seem to have longer time commitment requirements as well as monetary donation requirements for companies.

I’ve searched a few other threads on here about this and some of the ones I’ve seen either we have already done or are just outside of what we are looking to do as a company (such as time/monetary requirements). We are not opposed to repeating things we have already done but just wanted to be open to other things!
