Looking for GI Specialist recommendations. Please help if you have had experience with a good one. Thank you!

Family member has been dealing with chronic pain flare ups, food intolerances, and general discomfort for some time now. She’s a pretty healthy individual (vegetarian and active lifestyle), so we don’t even know where to start.

The doctors she has seen in the past have no patience when having to dig deeper or seem to prescribe very general remedies that don’t work long term.

We are looking for a GI specialist in the Houston area (inside the loop preferred) that can take the time to learn about health history and really try to solve these issues.
