Looking for advice re family oriented neighborhoods/finding a place sight unseen…

While I totally understand that renting a place without physically seeing it is generally a very bad idea, I'm trying to figure this out with the hand we've been dealt (I am a brand new mom who is exclusively nursing, my husband does not have the time off, we're currently living in NC, and we have no one locally to help)…

So, first- does anyone have any recommendation for a trusted realty group that might help? Or, does anyone know if there is a service that might help me with this?

Second, does anyone have a recommendation for neighborhoods to look into? His job will be in the medical center so ideally we'd like to be within the loop but are open to areas bordering the med center outside the loop and the Heights… we're generally familiar with Southgate, Bellaire, West U and Rice but if anyone has any suggestions outside of those areas, I'd really appreciate it!
