Looking for a lead on mens tennis in Houston!

My husband just moved to Houston after living in Austin for six years. There he was involved in a USTA mens league and played tennis every week. I can tell he is really missing it here in Houston, but he does not know anyone yet who plays and I think he is intimidated to just show up at a tennis court. I was hoping maybe there are some tennis players here that could get him looped in on the Houston tennis scene lol?? I know he plays line 1 on a 4.5 team in Austin!
