Looking for a Gastroenterology specialist any recommendations ?

My wife has been increasingly having stomach issues/pain every few weeks and seems to be getting worse. I have looked online and found good & bad reviews, im kind of nervous about finding a doctor. We will be paying out of pocket any recommendations on who to got to or not to go to will be greatly appreciated.
