Looking back on Tunsil/Stills and Clowney trade a year ago what are you reactions now?

My thoughts are: Tunsil and Stills trade was a necessity for our team and we needed to keep Deshaun upright and any cost but definitely overpaid market value for it. Don’t think it was a bad deal by any means, but we did what we needed to do to protect Deshaun. I do wish we were able to sign Tunsil to an extension before trade so he didn’t have us by the absolute balls this last summer though.

Clowney trade in hindsight looks even better to me then it did initially. It’s become evident to me BOB values players more than draft capital with getting Barkavious Mingo and Jacob Martin with a 3rd instead of the 1st round pick that people assumed the asking price was. Flipping that 3rd into Conley has helped the secondary and Martin looks to be becoming a consistent pass threat that we desperately need. Especially factoring in how difficult Clowneys been this summer with his demands I think that trade was great for the team.
